With over 30 years of experience in the medical field, I began my career as a nurse, holding positions in diverse settings, including hospitals, emergency rooms, clinics, and home health care. After obtaining an Associates degree from Howard College in Big Spring, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech School of Nursing. However, as I gravitated towards administrative job duties, I felt the need to be more involved in patient interactions. Consequently, I enrolled in West Texas A&M University in Canyon, graduating with a Master’s degree in 2013, with a focus on becoming a Nurse Practitioner.
As an FNP, I have worked in OB/women’s health and traditional family practice, and more recently, I ventured into Functional medicine, which emphasizes natural-based care. This has allowed me to adopt a holistic approach to health, redefining my perspectives on nutrition, medications, and treatments. With my own integrative style of medicine, I combine the best practices of traditional and functional medicine to offer Christian-based, personalized care to my patients, with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes.
